Billing FAQ
Answers to common questions about credits, charges, and subscription management.
Credits
Do unused credits roll over? No. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not carry over.
What happens if a generation fails? Your credits are automatically refunded if an image generation fails. You don't need to contact support.
Can I buy extra credits without upgrading? Not currently. To get more credits, upgrade to a higher plan from the Plans & Pricing page.
Charges
Where do charges appear? All PixoKit charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. We bill through Shopify's Billing API — there are no separate payment methods to manage.
Is GST included in the price? Prices shown are exclusive of GST. For Indian businesses, 18% GST is added at checkout by Shopify.
Do you offer refunds? Credits used for successful generations are non-refundable. If you're experiencing issues, contact support and we'll work with you.
Subscription
Can I switch plans mid-cycle? Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
What happens when I uninstall the app? Your subscription is canceled, remaining credits are forfeited, and your data is deleted within 30 days. Any images you pushed to Shopify remain in your product media.
Is there a free tier? Every new store gets 5 free credits on install. After that, you'll need a subscription plan.
