Image Generation Failed
If your image generation failed, here are the most common causes and how to fix them.
Common Causes
Source image too small or low quality
The AI needs a reasonably clear product image to work with. If your source image is very small (under 500px) or heavily compressed, generation may fail.
Fix: Upload a higher resolution product image to Shopify and try again.
No product image available
The product you selected doesn't have any images uploaded in Shopify.
Fix: Go to Shopify admin > Products > select the product > upload at least one image.
Temporary service issue
Our AI processing service may be temporarily unavailable.
Fix: Wait a few minutes and try again. If the issue persists for more than 15 minutes, contact support.
Credits and Failed Generations
If a generation fails, your credits are automatically refunded. Check your dashboard to confirm your balance was restored.
Still Not Working?
If you've tried the above and the issue persists:
- Note the job ID from the generation (visible in the gallery)
- Contact us at support@pixokit.com with the job ID
- We'll investigate and get back to you within 24 hours
